The Polar Challenge Team make use of Owl Lodge for shotgun and medical training

For a second year teams that have entered the 2008 350 mile race to the magnetic North pole were given instruction on how to use a pump action shotgun, medical training, a refresher on map reading skills and kit deployment. Phil Hayday Brown of Polar Challenge " Ideal venue for us to help prepare the teams having all the necessary facilities both outdoors and indoors and in such a beautiful location...we will be back!"
